Our Story
Custom Lab started as Outway’s private-label division, created to bring the same product knowledge, materials, and performance standards behind the Outway brand into custom projects.
What began as a way to create custom socks for brands and teams has grown into a dedicated business helping companies, retailers, events, organizations, and communities bring their ideas to life across North America and beyond.
The goal has stayed the same: make custom socks people actually want to wear.
Our process
From Idea to Finished Sock
You bring the vision. We’ll help with the design, details, production, and everything in between.
Send us your logo, colors, inspiration, quantity, timeline, or even just a rough idea. Our design team will turn it into a custom sock concept and send your initial design within 1 business day. From there, make as many revisions as you need until it feels right.
Once the design is where you want it, we’ll confirm the sock style, construction, sizing, colors, quantity, packaging, and final project details before anything moves into production.
Once your design is approved, we create a pre-production sample for review before moving into bulk production. From there, your socks are manufactured using the materials and construction selected for your project, with our team managing the process from approval through production so you always know where your order is at.
When production is complete, your socks are packed and prepared for delivery. Custom packaging is also available for orders of 125 pairs or more, so your socks can arrive ready for gifting, retail, events, or your team.
The end result is custom merchandise made to be worn and kept — not another promo item that ends up at the bottom of a drawer.
